As of Wednesday, Target stated it would no longer allow employees to retire at the age of 65, but CEO Brian Cornell has decided to stay on for another three years. Target's lead independent director Monica Lozano said in a press release, "We strongly endorse his commitment and his continuing leadership, especially considering his track record and the company's solid financial performance during his tenure." source Cornell, 63 years old, has served as Target's CEO since 2014.
